I had wandered all around my mind,
In hopes of finding happiness;
But when I finally found it,
It wasn't where I had been looking.
I didn't find happiness in my mind,
And I didn't find it in the places I had known.
I found it somewhere I'd never looked before,
I found happiness in you.
